Holly the hack

I should probably admit right now that I'm not a very good person. For example, whenever I see something super cool that somebody made, instead of supporting them and buying it, I just go home and copy it. I know. You can judge me.

Such is the case with these sandwich wraps I recently made. They were for sale at the market I work at, and so I got to look at them quite a bit. Well, a couple of weeks ago I came home and made some. Bad bad girl.

But we really like them.

This is a slow-motion demonstration of the sandwich wrap in action:

Look Evan! It matches your raincoat!!!

He is pleased.

I just made these up as I was going along, so I don't have a pattern to offer you, but after a quick internet search, I found a pattern here and for sale here. Please go make one. Today.

I think everyone does that so don't feel bad. They are a great idea. Did they keep things moist?

You're not alone. I do that too! I saw all these baby car seat covers for sale, thought it was a good idea, found a pattern online and made one myself! It's a heck of a lot better than paying $35.
I like the sandwich wraps. I'm going to put it on my list of things to make.
By the way, I love that picture of the Globe Mallow. Did you take it? How much would you charge if I commissioned you to do a drawing of it like your other flowers? because it's GORGEOUS! And the colors are so delicious. :-)

So it was Sunday at 9:11 pm and I was craving something sweet and dark. I knew just what to make. your brownies from heaven were calling. Can I just tell you, I am particular about my brownies first of all and have yet to find a home made recipe that would satisfy my lioness brownie feedings, but LO AND BEHOLD I will look no longer. THEY COMPLETLY ROCK! By 10:30 I was looking at an empty 9x13 pan and couldn't have been happier. Thank you for sharing. I will be using these brownies as bribery for my girls (and new son)to get them to stay at home as long as possible. it will work like a charm. :) We will also be making these awesome sandwich pockets to take with us to the park and splash pad! LOVE.

Hey everybody, thanks for all the nice comments. Jan- these kept the sandwiches pretty moist, although we packed them at breakfast and had them for lunch...so it might just depend on the amount of time in the wrap. Sarah- good job being a hack! Evan took the Globe Mallow picture and I love it too! I'll email you some information. And Jackie- Congratulations on a baby boy to be! And enjoy the brownies! :)

Can I copy them too? What a great idea! You can use them as a napkin too!

Kim- welcome, and thanks for stopping by! You should absolutely make some of these for yourself--they are awesome. Good luck!
